Christmas is a time of giving and sharing with those around us, but that sharing is not limited to those that we love and care for. It’s important to think of those who are less fortunate than ourselves. That’s why on Friday, along with the rest of the UK, employees at MPA Group put on their daftest woollies in aid of Save the Children.
Whether a glitzy, 3D or bauble-y jumper, everyone donated to help create a brighter future for millions of children who are missing out. A £2 donation can pay for the antibiotics to treat five children suffering from pneumonia and shows simply that every sweater worn really can make the world a better place. Save the Children has already helped millions of children across the globe.
Aside from just wearing our Christmas jumpers we also raised money with festive games such as “Who does Sophie Ellis-Bextor want to kiss under the mistletoe?” and “Pin the nose on James Blunt”. At the same time everyone came together for, what is now somewhat traditional, MPA Christmas buffet.
On the day, this fantastic event raised £146.00 for Save the Children – thank you to everyone who contributed to such a great charity.
You can still donate to Save the Children today.
Northampton Saints Study Centre
While posting Christmas cards remains a treasured tradition, this year we have donated the £200 that we would usually spend on sending Christmas cards to the Northampton Saints Study Centre. This continues our close relationship and support for the Foundation which works with schools from Northampton to “educate young people through the power of sport and educational enrichment”.
We will be open as usual over the Christmas period, excluding Bank Holidays. Our team will be on hand to answer any enquiries you might have. It’s also not too late if you need our help to submit an R&D claim before the end of December.
Finally, MPA Group would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, we are excited to see what 2019 has in store.
