MPA Group are delighted to confirm that we will be exhibiting at this years Advanced Engineering show. This is the UK’s largest exhibition for advanced engineering professionals and is set to be its biggest yet, celebrating its 10-year anniversary. New for 2018, the event will showcase Nuclear Engineering alongside Aero Engineering, Composites Engineering, Automotive Engineering and Connected Manufacturing. We’re also excited to have our director Mike Price, presenting at the event for the first time. On day 2 he will be talking on the theme ‘Tomorrow’s world, today: Overcoming barriers to innovation’. Director John Lowndes from MPA and Andrew Shepperd from Entrepreneurs Hub will also be presenting on day 2 between on ‘How to be in the 10%: Surviving (and thriving) as an SME’.
There is set to be over 600 engineering supply chain partners as well as 15,000 engineers, procurement and management from OEMs and higher tier companies all looking to source, specify and invest in the latest products and look at the latest innovations in the industry. With so many amazing engineering developments to be unveiled, we to are excited to support this with the launch of our Patent Box service at this year’s show. Based on the latest HMRC statistics we estimate that 52% of the R&D Tax Credits claimed are engineering and manufacturing companies. R&D tax credits and Patent Box are intentionally designed to be claimed alongside one another providing a great opportunity for these companies to increase their innovation funding.
MPA Group are proud to help companies fund their innovations, some of which will be exhibiting at this year’s show. Our own engineering and manufacturing analysts are trained specifically in the R&D tax credit and Patent Box schemes. If you can’t attend Advanced Engineering this doesn’t mean you have to miss out on these funding opportunities which have been beneficial to so many companies, you can get in touch with our team today. If you are exhibiting or attending stop by stand E24 in the Automotive zone and our team will be more than happy to answer any questions you have! We look forward to seeing the innovations pushing boundaries in manufacturing and engineering this year, how will they compare to last year?
